ensure the expected economic return on these investments, and monitor the effectiveness

- Solution management provides software asset life-cycle management and provides the
maintenance and enhancement of Lowe’s solutions.

IT Strategy
- The IT Strategy group’s primary responsibility is to maintain a 3 to 5 year forward
view of both evolving business strategies and emerging technologies in order to
forecast their potential Impact on all of Lowe’s IT-related assets. This forecast
spurs development of architectural roadmaps to drive the migration from current
to future state as well as definition of an IT research agenda to ensure that critical
technologies on the roadmap are available when needed.

- IT Operations is responsible for providing IT Service Delivery to all users of Lowe’s
Information Technology. IT Operations runs and administers the IT environment around-the-clock
24x7x365 to manage the IT service experience for our customers.
- IT Operations is responsible for provisioning, management, monitoring, and recovery
of Lowe’s enterprise (data centers) and distributed (stores, corporate, and distribution
centers) production, test, development, and QA systems.
