Legal Secretary/Paralegal

Provides paralegal/secretarial services to the Legal Department based in Mooresville and Wilkesboro, NC. Services will include general litigation and claims management, support and analysis, preparing drafts of legal memoranda, reviewing documents, coordination of discovery responses, and investigation of a variety of related claims.

Counsel

Works closely with other members of the Legal Department. Handles law matters, attorney demand letters, state agency claims and governmental demands through investigation, identification and analysis of legal issues, case assessment and valuation. Develops sound recommendations and strategies for responding on behalf of the Company. Other responsibilities include preparation of legal memoranda on emerging employment law issues, identifying opportunities to improve case management processes, project management and managing employment litigation discovery matters.
