Maximizing and managing the productivity and performance of our various Distribution Center environments requires a unique combination of knowledge, talent and leadership. Our skilled managers are responsible for coordinating the efforts of numerous Team Members, and ensuring that group and corporate goals are consistently met.

Management positions within Distribution are available in the following areas:

Human Resources

Contribute to the identification, procurement and development of Lowe’s Distribution employees across the organization. Serve as a vital liaison and source of valuable information for Lowe’s employees, such as benefits administration, issue resolution, personnel records, training and performance evaluation. Represent Lowe’s while developing strong relationships with our various internal and external communities.

Maintenance

Oversee the effective and optimum performance of material handling equipment, infrastructure, grounds, vehicles, and operating systems for the distribution centers. Perform regular preventive maintenance of all facility systems and assets. Ensure all appropriate safety and regulatory compliance standards are met. Source external suppliers as needed to support Distribution operations, in accordance with corporate purchasing and contracting procedures.

Transportation

Meet the total transportation needs of our ultra-modern distribution network. Monitor carrier performance to guarantee timely arrival and delivery of shipments, in support of superior service to our network of retail stores. Manage transportation expenses and service quality levels, ensuring that all corporate standards and policies are followed. Keep Lowe’s product and standards of quality perpetually moving forward.

Operations

Join a world-class team of hundreds of skilled individuals, dedicated to exceeding customer service level expectations while achieving maximum operating efficiency. Excel at performing under flexible conditions, achieving long and short-range goals based on productivity objectives and forecasted volume requirements.
